Have Travelled this month so far from Kirstenhof westlake to noordhoek

.. we have purchased large soya mince boxes which are great value R20 each, some morvite easy to add w water no need to cook.. lots of rice and sugar as usual and tea , then some tins of baked beans and soup cubes. and of coursde a load of bread  dropping them approx every 2 weeks . not having to worry about food for 2-3 days dpending  Is always welcome to the enduring people one meets either workers or homeless . not one of them would have preferred a job but well One only wishes.. ..

SIMPHIWE and KANE MASIPHUMELE
On the way to noordhoek I met simphiwe from  the eastern cape and Kane from zimbabwe, both living in in Masi
they needed  lift over the mountains from  westlake after work where they have a short contract working . perhaps youll recodnigise them at the upper westlake robots once evening . they are firm friends. after al the media tells us aboutn imigrants and local both being that was really refreshing ..

these gentlemen were from steenerg and westlake /capricorn. one of them has had TB and is very elderly ,,he has had TB and received but still more suspectible to coronavirus..we do need more soap ,,donations welcome

 We have been extremley fortunate in the past to have a Donor such as Grace Lin.  Since we started she has supported out biannual muizenburg homeless events extremely generously.
So far in the month of january/february  We have done 2 shoppings and given out several  food parcels to some local Westlake homeless people and workers also for thier fmailies kids, from capricorn with sugar, tea,  canned food rice, soup cubes from  our Casual Labourer  and Family support project

We have given around R500 of food out divided into 12 food packs so far and our next drop off from Graces kind donation wil be in around 2 weeks.
The packs included 3 cups of rice, 2 cups of sugar, around 12 teabags each, either can oif baked beans or knowrrow soya mince and 3 soup cubes. so it might not go very far but hopefully it makes a small differe4nce. without doubt the gratiude receid fomr people earning hardly at all but waiting by the side of the road 4 hours a day for work and toomany  coming out with R150 to R300 per week wages and haviong to support families too, is deeply appreciated
This time we were pleased also to help Ricardo who is semi homeless and looking so much better since a local business has fiven him around R400 a month .he was shaved and carrying the sign for his employers when We found him.

we were also able to hand him and ricardo and cheslin some of the special underpants made so kindly by Daisy Dee, and Nadia from steenberg looking after a chld with no work for so took a bag of clothes from Nina Natasha Flack  in fishoek which she so kindly gave ..
