EPWP provides work as cleaners on a contract basis but as of 03/05/2018 1 in kalk bay haven and 2 in happy valley shelter had a contrsact (6 months ) only .
BEACH CLEANUPS KALK BAY Work such as beach cleanups are provided for small salaries to some of the Kalk Bay Haven residents ( )
CAR GUARDS
SIMONSTOWN has regulated car guards which report to the SAP and regulation seems to have gone hand in hand with great community trust and empathy for homeless. it also protects people employment and makes them less vulnerable to confrontations and take overs of spaces they work .
KALK BAY and MUIZENBURG have car guards but there is currently no regulation applies, and there are reports that people that have traditionally guarded certain spaces, get taken over by non homeless people
